Raising Saints Academy
Hello, Catholic homeschooling parents! Like you, our primary mission in life is to raise our children to become saints. Deciding to homeschool our five kids was hands down the BEST decision we've ever made towards that goal. Yet, our homeschooling adventure hasn't been without difficulties.
Giving each of our kids the best Catholic education possible can be extremely overwhelming. Textbooks are often boring for the student and time consuming for the parent. Giving each child the individual attention they need can make you want to pull your hair out, especially when you have children who are still very young and needy, or older children needing help with a difficult subject.
Video courses seemed like a great way to keep them engaged and working independently with qualified teachers, but we weren't able to find any Catholic options. We wanted an academically rigorous curriculum that could be done with minimal parental involvement, while captivating the imaginations of our kids, and–most importantly–training them to become saints.
Raising Saints Academy is our vision for an online portal where you can select beautifully filmed video courses for your children, taught by devout Catholics who are top experts in their field. These courses can be completed on your own time, and you can do as many, or as few, as you choose to either supplement your existing curriculum or replace it completely. Assignments will be given directly to the student, so they are working as independently as possible, freeing you up to take care of the littles or work with another child.
Courses will be designed with the Classical education model in mind to accomplish two goals:
1. Allowing siblings of different ages to complete courses together wherever possible, and
2. Giving each child age-appropriate assignments to suit their particular stage of development (the grammar/logic/rhetoric "trivium").

In addition to authentically Catholic video courses, we'll offer our families a private community where students and parents can feel safe to ask questions, make friends, and share their homeschool experiences with other devout Catholics from around the world. This community is open NOW to backers of our project, and is a place where families can make their voices heard and watch from behind the scenes as we create each course.

Sacred Liturgy
Deepen your child's understanding of the Sacred Liturgy, organically developed over thousands of years through the inspirations of the Holy Spirit. You'll learn all about its rich symbolism through "hands-on" lessons filmed in beautiful churches with priests of the Latin, Byzantine and Maronite rites.
Creation Science
Learn how God created all things perfectly beautiful at the beginning of time, how sin brought death and disease into the world, and how God's plan can only be restored by returning to his Holy Will. Taught by leading Catholic scientists and theologians, this science class will show how modern science supports the Magisterium and the Fathers' interpretation of Genesis.
Living in the Divine Will
The Church approved writings of Servant of God Luisa Piccaretta teach us how to live like the saints in heaven do. When all people on earth finally live this way, then the prayer of the Our Father will be fulfilled: "Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in heaven." The entire family–even very young children–should learn how to live in the Divine Will!
Cooking Through the Liturgical Year
Empower your kids with valuable cooking skills early in life as they independently create dishes for feast days throughout the liturgical year. They'll learn some science along the way, and you'll enjoy the help with dinner. You may enjoy it so much you'll want to make these feast day meals a family tradition!
